Super nice kit, has fenders that are factory primed, ready to be painted in your choice of colors, even has hub caps for the wheels. This is an outrigger setup, the factory rear tire still drives the scooter. WebJul 30, 2008 · I put a Tow-Pac trike kit on our Aprilia 500GT scooter for the wife. It worked fine as a trike except it slowed the 500 down to comparable acceleration of our 250 MP3. I also found it strained the Aprilia belt to the point it lasted 1/3 as long as it did before the trike kit. My 500 Aprilia scooter uses the same belt as my 400 MP3 and 500 MP3s.

I started checking the internet for trike kits. Most were extremely expensive. The least expensive was the Tow-pak which was about $2.600 plus several hundred for shipping (if you installed it yourself).
