It has 2 brackets with the kit. 1 to mount to the tub and the other to the transfer case. It has a cable that drives the shifting instead of the hard linkage that is there now. The cable part on the Novak and the Advance look almost identical in how they sit and get installed. The only way to diag it is get it hot and disco the cable, then see if the trans shaft is stiff. Get you mechanic to do this as it can roll away while your under it.
